Valentine's Shakers

Created by Mama Flo

Created by Crazy Cat Mama

I made this Valentine's Day card for the "Love of my life."  I told him that when I found this stamp it truly expressed how I felt about him and will always feel about him.....as long as I shall live.  The shaker box was made with Stampin Up's Perfectly Preserved jar stamp & Cannery Set framelits then I hand cut the little window with my handy Xacto knife. The larger hearts were made using framelits & the tiny hearts were made with a Martha Stewart border punch.

This is the valentine's day card I made for my wonderful hubs... Following the direction crazy cat mama went, I used a shaker box (that she generously made for me!).

One of the other ladies in the office (who I got hooked onto Pinterest) found a card with the following quote on it, and everyone agreed I had to include that on my card!

Needless to say, my husband loved the card. He's the type that really appreciates written words, handcrafted cards and funny quotes. =)

Little Daisy Thanks

Created by Crazy Cat Mama

I made this thank you card for my "Buddy," who is such a kind & giving person.  She always has a positive attitude and finds joy in everything, especially things we take for granted like a beautiful blue sky or green mountains.....so it is only fitting that I made a card for her with little daisies & birds.  Then I was sooooo overjoyed that she really loved this card that I made with Stampin Up's Designer Frames embosser with a window opening using the extra-large oval punch.  I also used Stampin Up's Adorning Accents Edgelits, Pretty Petites "thank you" stamp, Petite Curly Label punch & the daisies were made with a Punch Bunch punch.

The Flower Stand

author: minion

We like to browse Pinterest during our lunch hour and one day, I stumbled upon the cutest card by Sparkly Cards that looked like a cupcake stand that you would see on the side of the road… I decided right then and there that I had to make this card but make it a flower stand version. With the input of the craft ladies and a few days of thinking and pitching ideas, we came up with this adorable card...

My dear friend’s birthday is on March 8th, and I was just in her wedding this past summer. I call it the “yellow shoes wedding” because we wore gorgeous aqua blue dresses with yellow sandals of our choice. =) I thought it would be fitting to incorporate her wedding colors into the card.

The stand’s eave is made from Stampin’ Up’s word window punch, glued onto a strip of thick cardstock and scored at the edges to hang in place. The bottom of the stand is embossed with the lines embossing folder and edged with the Adorning Accents Edgelits.

I decided to use a variety of colors for the flowers inside. They make me smile!

Happy Birthday Sprinkles

Created by Crazy Cat Mama

I created this birthday card for a special little girl who celebrated her 12th birthday, however it seems like only yesterday that she celebrated her 1st birthday.  I used a swirly dot embossing folder on the green strip of paper and the ice cream cones were made with the "Stampin Up" Cupcake Builder punch & Petite Pennants Builder punch.  I folded the white cardstock that was used on the inside in half then cut two 1" slits  an 1" apart then I attached the "Happy Birthday" wishes and ice cream cones using dimensionals.

Chevron Bloom

Created by Crazy Cat Mama

I made this "Thank You" card for a special friend who is more like another daughter than a friend, she loves the color teal and chevron patterns so this is what inspired the card.  I used the "Stampin Up" designer frames folder and adorning accents edgelits then I punched out a whole bunch of white flowers that were layered on top of each other to give it some dimension, then I added some bling with the rhinestones and glitter.  The inside pocket held my personal "Thank You" note to her.

Stitched with Love

by Mama Flo

Stitched with Love was created especially for Mrs T to thank her for making the girls in our office some beautiful crocheted seat cushions that looked like quilt patches, which was the inspiration this card.  She also made for us her famous fried mochi which is so yummy....wish she could package and sell it because we would be the first in line to buy them.  She is such a sweet and giving person whose thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated.

Thanks a Million

by Mama Flo

I made this "Thank You" card to express our deepest appreciation to two of our closest friends who took us and a few other couples along with them to Vegas to celebrate their 25th Anniversary.  They took care of accommodations at Caesar's Palace, spa massages, dancing & drinking at "Pure Nightclub" and a delicious "Anniversary" dinner at Rao's.  Like they say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.....
